Does YOURCOOP have a referral program?
Yes. If you know any businesses that would like to share advertising space with you, refer them to us. You will receive 10% OFF your ad for each business you refer that participates in a coop with you. You could potentially get your ad for FREE if you refer enough businesses. Email us for details.
What is an advertising cooperative (coop)?
A COOP is an advertising system by which ad costs and space are divided/shared between two or more parties.
I don’t see a COOP I am interested in. What can I do?
We can easily start a coop for you. Simply click “START A COOP” in the title menu, fill out the short form and we will contact you with options that best benefit your needs – and there is not obligation.
How can I guarantee my spot in a COOP?
All COOPs are first-come-first-serve and are reserved with full payment. COOPs run when all spots are full. If you wish to purchase more than one spot, you are free to do so. If you choose to purchase multiple spots, our design team can easily merge your spots into one, or design multiple ads for you.
How will I gain Credibility using Yourcoop?
Your credibility is based on your target market and the public’s perception of you. When you choose to participate in COOPs in well-known prevalent media, whether it be national like Newsweek® or USA Today® or your respected local publications, you gain credibility by the simple fact of association.
Why are coops a greater benefit than smaller ads I purchase by myself?
With YOURCOOP, you benefit from the exposure of full-page advertising with our theme based templates. Also, using YOURCOOP is much more cost-effective when compared to purchasing page fractions offered by publications.
What can I do if a competing business is already on a COOP I wish to participate in?
Unfortunately, our goal is to try and keep competing companies separate and on their own COOPs. However, if you see specific companies you wish to include in YOURCOOP, we will be glad to START A COOP for you and contact those companies to express your wishes and requests.
Can I check the progress of the COOP I am participating in, so I can anticipate when it will run?
Yes, first you need to pull-up the COOP you are participating in under the COOPS link in the title menu. Then, all you need to do is look for this link: ![]()
If you do not see this link, it means the design is still in production and will be available shortly. Check back periodically to follow the progress of your COOP. It will run as soon as all the spaces are full.
How will I know my ad ran?
Once YOURCOOP is full and submitted to the publication, you will receive a verification email from us.
Also, upon your request, a single proof from the publication can be provided. Because of the multiple advertisers in each COOP, any requests for additional proofs is the responsibility of the advertiser and must be directed to the publication in which the COOP runs.
How much does it cost?
The price of each COOP is clearly listed on the corresponding COOP’s page. Costs vary based on number of participants, circulation and publication.
When is my payment due for each COOP I wish to participate in?
All COOP opportunities are first-come-first-serve and must be reserved in advance with full payment.
Can I start a COOP using internet, broadcast or any other advertising mediums?
At this time, we only place cooperative advertising in print media. We hope to extend our service in the future based on the amount of feedback we receive.
In which publications can I advertise?
You are not limited to any specific publication. We can easily start a coop for you in the publication of your choice. If you do not see a COOP you are interested in on the site, use the START A COOP link in the title menu, and we can work with you to find your best opportunities – with no obligations.
